The Georgian Bay Mnidoo Gamii Biosphere (GBB) is seeking applicants to the following four positions.

1. Biosphere Natural Heritage Guide
The Biosphere Natural Heritage Guide will be responsible for developing and delivering regular educational programs and public outreach pertaining to local ecology and the Georgian Bay Biosphere (GBB) to a variety of audiences. The guide will at times work with youth audiences, attend community events and markets, lead guided hikes, and support community gardens.
Duration: May 9th 2022 – September 2nd, 2022
Location: This position will be based from one of two locations, although work will be distributed throughout the Biosphere region of eastern Georgian Bay:
- Parry Sound: Biosphere office 125 William Street, Parry Sound
- Honey Harbour: Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Beausoleil Island (accommodation
may be provided)

2. Community & Pollinator Garden Assistant
Under the direction of the Georgian Bay Biosphere, the Community & Pollinator Garden Assistant will support numerous activities in both community fruit and vegetable gardens and native plant gardens in partnership with other organizations, First Nations, and municipalities across the regions.
Duration: May 9th 2022 – September 2nd, 2022
Location: This position is based at the GBB office (125 William Street, Parry Sound) with regular field work located throughout the Biosphere region of eastern Georgian Bay.

3. Species at Risk Technician – Field Lead
The Species at Risk Field Technician – Field Lead will support the Biosphere and its partners in the delivery of the Community Nominated Priority Places (CNPP) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting intensive fieldwork in the summer, primarily focused on reptiles. They will also be responsible for assisting in the organization and delivery of field programs and reporting.
Duration: May 2nd 2022 – December 31st, 2022
Location: This position is based at the GBB office (125 William Street, Parry Sound) with regular field work located throughout the Biosphere region of eastern Georgian Bay.

4. Species at Risk Technician
The Species at Risk Field Technician will support the Biosphere and its partners in the delivery of the Community Nominated Priority Places (CNPP) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting intensive fieldwork in the summer, primarily focused on reptiles.
Duration: May 2nd 2022 – September 2nd, 2022, possibility of extension.
