Biosphere Walk: Ask the Naturalist

This walk date was changed because of weather! Please join us on Friday, February 21st at 2:00pm. Explore the Rose Point Trail with a GBBR naturalist. Look for winter birds and other signs of wildlife. Be sure to bring your nature questions! Suggested donation to join is $10, which helps us continue our education and conservation programming!

Join us and Killbear Park staff as we hike an old Sugar Bush to share the history and significance of the sugar maple. We'll highlight the Anishinabek cultural connections of other tree species as well and the present day threats of forest pests. Killbear Sugar Bush - meet at the Community Mailboxes, first left on Blind Bay Rd.

Bats, owls, moths, oh my! GBBR staff explore their favorite nocturnal animals on this dimly lit hike. This is forecasted to be a peak night for the Lyrids meteor shower, so have an eye on the sky too!
